Bastion de San Diego is located on the southern tip of Manila's walled fortification. Its conservation began on March 17, 1979. The initial effort to clear the structure of vegetation and waste led to the discovery of interesting architectural features, many of them previously unrecorded and photographed. This book also features evidence of treasure hunt for gold bars supposedly buried here by retreating Japanese Military Command. Documentation by the National Museum.
